Cross Member to suit 2" Lift
Lift your Jimny 50mm and fit castor-correction bushes, and the prop shaft ends up sitting much closer to the factory crossmember. Over bumps and when the suspension compresses, the two can knock together, which makes noise and marks both parts.
The Des Sol Crossmember fixes that properly. It has a shaped clearance notch directly under the prop shaft and a narrower profile, so you get the clearance back without losing any ground clearance. That's unlike many off-the-shelf drop kits, which lower things and undo half the point of your lift.

Why You Need It
A suspension lift changes the angle of your drivetrain, and castor bushes rotate the front axle to correct steering feel. Together they move the prop shaft down towards the crossmember. This crossmember gives it room to move through the full suspension travel.
Better Than Notching
Instead of cutting a notch into your factory crossmember, the Des Sol unit is a purpose-formed replacement. It's cleaner, stronger and fully reversible.
Important: Not usually needed at standard ride height. Actual clearance depends on your lift, castor parts and axle position, so have your installer check the full setup. For a 5-door, a lift other than 50mm, or non-Des Sol suspension, contact us to confirm fitment before ordering.
